I like the image the question conjures up...that Texas itself is actually that wierd pinky red. But also, they did not specify which type of grafefruit. You would assume Texas Ruby Red...but you can't be sure. And then there is the problem of what you would call that color. Pink? Ruby Red? Pale yellow? Not very Texas colors, I'd say.
However, there is currently a bill to make the chuck wagon the official state vehicle (as well as a bunch of other nonsense). Ah, our lawmakers at work on the tough issues. Maybe next session we should sponsor a bill to make the official color of Texas the color of the inside of a grapefruit! Awesome!
